Daniel (Sax), Tim (Bass), Shuan (Percussions) and Aarika (Vocals) were invited to play on the programme, 98.7 Stripped. Hosted by Vanessa Fernandez, the guys got to play 3 songs and got interviewed during the 1 hour show. It was a great opportunity for the guys to play at the new 98.7fm studio at SCAPE and the guys had a really fun time on radio.
Daniel (Sax), Timmy (Bass), Shaun (DJ) and Aarika (Vocals) were at TAB playing for the ‘Sixx, Live at TAB’ show cum dvd recording. TAB is a spanking new spot and the guys were lucky to be able to catch youtube sensation David Choi opening for Sixx that night. The crowd packed the place and it was a fantastic show! Daniel(Keyboards) and Aarika(Vocals) were invited to play at the engagement party of Ruth and Daniel. The duo entertained the crowd with their rendition of classic jazz ballads as well as upbeat RnB tracks. It was a small and intimate party and was topped up by some great food from the chef! Congrats to the couple again!
Daniel(Sax), Shaun(DJ,Percussions), Tim(Bass) and Aarika(Vocals) were at the Esplanade Waterfront last friday playing at the 4Flo Festival. It was a great hip hop festival and the crowd was rockin and an original ‘So Far’ also made its debut on the night.
Aarika, Tim, Shaun and Daniel played with Sixx over the weekend at Wavehouse, Sentosa. There was 3 sets of exciting, non-stop hits and the music really tore up Sentosa. It was great fun and a great way to spend the weekend!
The SoundGrove Duo consisting Daniel (Sax) and Caleb (Guitar) was invited to play at the closing dinner for the NTUC Charity Golf Tournament. MP Christopher De Souza was the Guest-of-Honour and the guys kept the mood lively with their rendition of several jazz classics. It was indeed a really successful event!
Daniel & Tim were back with the Sixx crew at Victoria Theatre for the Street Revolution Jam which was part of the Singapore Arts Festival. Everyone dressed up for the occasion it was a long time since our previous indoor gig. The crowd was wild and crazy! It was a great event with several top notch DJs and Rappers from Asia taking the stage after the band. Its wonderful that the Arts Festival is recognizing hip hop acts!
Daniel, Shuan and Tim were back with Sixx, performing at the WeekendTRIP gig series called Sounds Like Saturday. The band continued to wow the crowd after Jack and Rai had performed and it got the crowd along Orchard Road so crazy that there was a massive human jam. It was a fabulous night out with friends and fans alike!
The SoundGrove band was at the Marina Mandarin Hotel performing for the Long Service Award Dinner for Citibank. The night was filled with lovely jazz ballads, as well as modern contemporary and smooth jazz hits. The crowd had a great time and was the band had a wonderful time performing. Thanks alot to Jacinta for approaching the band to perform!
Jessica (Key, Vocals) and Daniel (Sax) spent Christmas Eve at the lovely home of Stephanie, playing a set of easy listening jazz by the pool and then led the guests in a wonderful time of singing carols. It was definitely a new experience for the duo as they experienced the warmth of Christmas with the many guests and family members of Stephanie’s. It was surely a night to remember for all.
